About Me
Statement of Purpose:
Journalism allows me to explore different subjects and matters I may not have been involved in or known about before. I learn and grow every time I sit down to write. Communicating and writing about difficult matters while educating people is so important in a day and age of Artificial Intelligence, misinformation on social media, and a lack of knowledge of the world around us. This also let me be closer to my mom, we talk about injustices that can be written and reported on.
Goals:
My journalistic goals are to cover a story about politics or any controversial topic. I would also like to learn how to cover sports stories, I think they are very interesting and have to be written in a certain way for the story to cover the entire topic.
